Sitting here on Williams Island I sense the spirits in the calm of the wind. Today I decided to continue this effort to log thoughts about the Historic Site, Idlewild. The sounds of birds are loud here by the beach. Somedays you can remain alone for hours here. During the Summer however the Island becomes alive with movements and sounds of water, wind, birds and the humming of motors from cars and boats. But in those moments of still silence, and magical moment occurs when silence is breached by the coo and songs of the birds...
I sit here and wonder what will become of this place. I was well into adulthood before I understood that the footsteps before me on these paths and roads, were made by many of significance. Worthy to be remembered and understood. Gotta Go, will start delving deeper soon...

Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance.
